I've just seen a movie trailer from "Letters to Juliet" starring Amanda Seyfield. There was an interesting sentence during the trailer said "The greatest love story ever told is your own". It was simple but true. You know, in love life you must be feel funny and happy for your own love story. You don't need Romeo and Juliet to adore. Your love story must be much more interesting to share because you are the one who feels the heart beat, the one who cherish the moments, the one who feels the pain, and feels satisfied when you've through an obstacle with your lovely one. All this happiness and pains should be more excited to tell (and listen) than an eternal story about couple named Romeo and Juliet whose their romance ended by a "suicide" (due to misscomunication which is so silly for me! *sorry, but i'm not a fan*).
Well, the sentence could have different meaning in life (at least for me). Look if I omit the word "love" in it, yup it gonna be "The Greatest Story Ever Told is Your Own"! I prefer this one. Why you have to adore someone else? You don't know them well personally. You're the one who has to appreciate yourself, love yourself. So try to know more about you. At least, that's what I do. And it makes me keep learning from mistakes, keep thinking to be better in the future, and challenging myself for more. This way of thinking remind me some day in 2003 when I was on interview for my first job. As always, there was a "silly" question asking "Who is your idol(s)?". I never forgot my answer was Prophet Muhammad, my Mom and Dad. Why? because at least I know them more than Britney Spears or all the famous artists. Well, at that moment I didn't answer "myself"! but I will cos I'm the one who knows very well the toughest challenge that I've conquered. Well, now I'm trying to make myself the greatest story ever made! LOL
